It will cover all expenses, including tuition fees, living expenses, airfare, and Korean language training fees.

The Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (GSFS) offers full tuition exemption for up to 4 semesters and a monthly living allowance of 500,000 KRW varying by major.

Silk-Road Scholarship:

The Silk-Road Scholarship provides full tuition fee exemption for up to 4 semesters, a maximum monthly living allowance of 600,000 KRW for 4 semesters, and up to 1 million KRW for one economy round trip airfare.

Additionally, recipients of both scholarships will be exempt from the Language Education Institute’s fees.

Fully funded scholarships are available for international students through the Overseas Koreans Scholarship and the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP GKS).

The Overseas Koreans Scholarship offers full tuition exemption for up to four semesters (if conditions are met), living expenses of 900,000 KRW per month for a maximum of four semesters, one economy round trip airfare, and fee exemption for six months of Korean language training at the Language Education Institute, as well as private medical insurance.

Korean Government Scholarship Program:

Meanwhile, the KGSP GKS provides full tuition fee exemption for four semesters for master’s programs and six semesters for Ph.D. programs, living expenses of 900,000 KRW per month

One economy round trip airfare, and one year of mandatory Korean language training.

If a student does not achieve a TOPIK grade 3 within a year, they may not be eligible to continue receiving the scholarship.
