The Award of GIST Scholarship in south Korea 2023 is currently open.

Graduate School of Information Systems of Korea administers three

hundred awards every year for master’s degree programs and Ph.D. programs.

2023 fall seats for international students are available.

The GIST is a scholarship program offer by the South Korean government to international students who wish to study in South Korea.

The scholarship is intend to promote the internationalization of higher education in South Korea by providing support for students from around the world to study at South Korean universities.

The GIST program provides full tuition coverage, a monthly allowance, airfare, and other benefits for the duration of the scholarship period. The scholarship is available for both undergraduate and graduate students, and is open to students from all countries.

To be eligible for the GIST scholarship, students must meet certain academic and language requirements. Undergraduate students must have a grade point average of at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, while graduate students must have a grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, all students have a good command of the English language, as all classes in South Korean university are taught in English.

The application process for the GIST scholarship is quite competitive, and students are encourag to begin the application process early. The application period is typically in the fall, and successful applicants will be notified in the spring.

The Overall Duration of the GIST Master’s Scholarship is 2 years, while its Duration is 4 years for the GIST Ph.D. Scholarship.

All students (Tuition Assistance):

Tuition Supported Fully: 3,415,000 won per semester.

Monthly Appropriations All International Students:

Up-to-the-mark Monthly Allowance: 140,000 won per month for M.S. students, 295,000 won per month for Ph.D.-level students.

Meal allowance:

Students must have complete at least nine credits in the previous year to be grant more than the two annual international student allowance.

A GPA of 3.0 or higher out of 4.5 in the last month was a prerequisite for the allowance.
