To be eligible for an RTP Stipend, students must be undertaking an HDR at UTS in the year of the RTP Stipend and not be receiving financial assistance from University of Technology Sydney in the year the supplement is awarded. Graduate academics are not eligible for this scholarship if they are receiving equivalent awards, stipends, or salaries.
Income earned from sources other than research is not subject to the 75 percent rule.
