For both Master’s and Ph.D. level programs, you just need a letter of proficiency, no need for an IELTS-GRE.
The time duration of the Master s degree is two years, and for Ph.D. is three years.
You can also apply for a Fully-Funded Scholarship for Master’s and Ph.D.

Duration of a Master of Engineering degree is 2 years, and a Ph.D. degree is 3 years.Financial support is provided in the form of Tuition Fee MEXT Scholarship Stipend per month.
For Master: of Engineering 144,000 yen, and Ph.D. trainees get the same remuneration 145,000 yen per year.A TICKET was issued to the lowest two or three nationally-ranked trainees invited to each trainee.A MEDICAL ALLOWANCE and a ROOM in an inexpensive hotel are included.
